An experienced senior project manager having held Director/Executive level roles in both professional and volunteer positions, Michael works with C-Level and Executive Management to deliver key strategic projects and programs who prides himself on meeting requirements and expectations.
Recognized as a project management authority in the industry, Michael has had several opportunities to speak internationally on the topic and has published work on the subject. With over 30+ year experience, Michael provides detailed and comprehensive project management work that meets the client needs including strategic planning, resource management and financial oversight with a particular focus on strategic planning.
With a career background in Banking and Financial Services, Michael has worked in many industry verticals from Retail to Broadcast Media; Transportation to Telecommunications; Insurance to Publishing. He understands that while requirements may change, the expectation remains the same in all opportunities and that projects must deliver on commitments. Communication being key in all cases.
Michael has been a volunteer leader with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for sixteen years, Director, past President and now Senior Vice President for the Southern Ontario Chapter, providing leadership, financial oversight and governance in a unique cultural environment. He is also a Director with the Board and the Treasurer for the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS) providing fiscal reviews and direction for this highly energized group.
