Project Management Institute (PMI) Southern Ontario Chapter –1998 to Current
Active as Director and Past President, Project Management Institute (PMI) Southern Ontario Chapter one of the largest Chapters in the world with just short of 5,000 members and 3,600 PMPs supported and serviced in the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding area.
Michael has volunteered and contributed to the association now for over ten years and is a frequent speaker on Project Management at the PMI’s annual Leadership Conferences both in North America and in Europe.
Last year PMI honored Michael with the prestigious award for his contribution to the association in the category of Component Leadership and he received his award at the 2008 North American Leadership/Global Congress meeting held in Denver.
Michael has actively fulfilled many roles with PMI, notable positions being the President for three years and being responsible for both the Chapter and the Regional finances since 1998.
